Lucia Behring

Lucia is involved in both the scientific and editorial work of the LAB, positioning herself at the intersection of research and media communication on issues of socio-ecological transformation. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences at University College Freiburg and holds a Master’s degree in Social-Ecological Economics and Policy from WU Vienna. She works as a research associate at the Institute for Spatial and Socio-Ecological Transformation, where her research focuses on the Foundational Economy and Industrial Strategy.

In addition to her academic work, Lucia is active in film production. She previously worked as creative producer at B2W Filmworks and has produced several short and medium-length films.

At the Future Histories LAB, Lucia combines academic research with media-based communication and practice-oriented project development. She is responsible for podcast post-production as well as the conceptual and editorial development of transdisciplinary projects.
